Support ranges from short, hourly visits to more intensive packages and live‑in care. Specialist services include dementia and Alzheimer’s care, palliative and end of life care, complex needs and clinical tasks (such as stoma, wound and tracheostomy care), learning disability support, and care for young persons (13+) with long‑term conditions.
Your care will be delivered by trained, vetted Mega Nursing & Care employees who are directly employed and supervised, not by agency workers. You will see a small team so you can build trusting relationships and feel comfortable with the people visiting your home.
All staff complete core care training, regular refreshers and role‑specific clinical competencies before supporting people on their own. For palliative and end of life care, carers receive additional training aligned with Gold Standard Framework principles so they can provide safe, dignified and compassionate support at every stage.
Yes. Mega Nursing & Care provides nurse‑led packages for people with complex health needs, including tracheostomy care, ventilator support, PEG or enteral feeding, stoma care and complex wound management, subject to a clinical assessment. Care plans are developed in partnership with community nurses, hospital teams and GPs to ensure that home support is safe, effective and integrated with the wider NHS care plan.
A care coordinator will visit you at home (or arrange a video call if you prefer) to understand your health, routines, preferences and goals. Together with you and your family, they will create a personalised care plan, which can be adjusted over time as your needs change.
Care is reviewed regularly, and you can request a review at any time if your health, mobility or circumstances change. Visit times, tasks and the level of support can be increased, reduced or reshaped to reflect what is safest and most helpful for you and your family.
Home care can be funded privately, through local authority support, NHS funding (for some complex or end of life needs) or a mixture of these. Mega Nursing & Care can explain typical costs, signpost you to benefits and funding advice, and work with you to design a package that fits both your needs and budget.
You can call the office, complete the enquiry form on the landing page, or request a call back at a time that suits you. A care coordinator will talk you through your situation, arrange a free home care assessment, and outline the next steps so you know exactly what to expect.
