As we move into our 15th year of providing the highest standard of compassionate home care to our community, we are thrilled to announce that we’ve been named as finalists in all five categories we entered for the 2026 Home Care Awards!
It comes on the heels of winning the Palliative/End-of-Life Expertise category at the 2025 Home Care Awards, something we remain immensely proud of.
It’s a reminder that when you come to Mega Nursing & Care, you are getting home care from a company known for its quality and with a history of excellence. It’s a promise to both ourselves, and everyone who uses our services.

We’re particularly pleased with this because it shows that we’re excelling at two things that really matter to us: caring about people and being very good at what we do.
To be finalists for four categories of care means that our standard of care is exceptional, both in terms of looking after our service users’ medical and care needs and in terms of providing compassionate care that truly meets their emotional and psychological needs.
A major aspect of our palliative and end-of-life care, nursing care, specialist care and respite care is that it’s deeply person-centred and nurse-led. We take each person’s situation into account and tailor our services accordingly, whether it’s for a family needing respite or for someone who requires companionship and care as they face the end of their life.
But, as they say, if you want to know what a company is really like, you look behind closed doors, at how they treat their employees. To be finalists of the Recruitment, Retention and Staff Motivation Expertise category is testament to our family-run company’s values that prioritise people.
Not only do we hire excellent people, in no small part to our cutting-edge recruitment technology, but we also care for them deeply. We do our best to foster a sense of community and family within the team, as well as inculcate our values. We also constantly provide opportunities for personal growth, from specialist training for our carers to opportunities for taking a paid MBA for more senior managers.
We care for our team and our service users.
We should also say that being nominated as finalists for The Home Care Awards matters because of the nature of these awards.
The Home Care Awards are, as the name suggests, a prestigious set of awards issued every year to celebrate excellence in the home care sector. They recognise innovation, compassion and outstanding service, all things that we aspire to.
You can imagine, then, that for us, selection as a finalist is profoundly meaningful and something to be proud of.
Of course, it’s gratifying to be recognised for excellence and all the hard work that goes into it, but, more importantly, it’s validation that we are continuing to meet our high standards which means that the people we care for are getting the quality home care that we are desperate to provide.
You see, we are on a mission. It drives us and is what keeps us going, shooting for more and reaching for even higher standards.
It is born out of our vision and aim, the same vision that drove our founding.
We want to provide exceptional, person-centred care to people in the comfort of their homes with all the benefits that brings. We want to empower our clients by allowing them to maintain their dignity and independence on their terms. We want them surrounded by their families and free to do the things that make life worth living.
Our role is to remove the health and care obstacles to this and provide whatever assistance our service users need, whether it’s respite care or our award-winning palliative and end-of-life care.
Our clients’ wellbeing and peace of mind is our purpose.
We don’t like to blow our own trumpet, but being a part of the Home Care Awards like this is testament to the incredibly hard work that everyone puts into what we do, from the company leadership to the administrators to our carers in the field. We have a tremendous group of people who come together tirelessly every day to do their best to provide the outstanding care our service users have come to expect from us.
